Louis Piscitelli Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home on Oct. 8, 2021.
Louis A. Piscitelli, 81 of Naples, FL passed away peacefully on Friday,
October 1, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Estero. He was born September 21, 1940 in New Haven, CT the son of the late Dan and Vincenza (Martin) Piscitelli. Lou and his late wife, Kathy had moved down from the New England area enjoyed the life they made for themselves in Naples, Florida for the past 32 years.
In his early years, Lou was employed by Sunbeam Bread and came to be
known as "The Breadman". Once he relocated to southwest Florida he was able to help many through his sales of health insurance, and eventually spent many years selling plantation shutters. He took pride in his work and was known to be extremely friendly and personable with all.
He truly loved to be the life of the party and entertain his family and friends by performing stand-up comedy and could tell jokes for hours. He emulated the older classic comedians, like Jacky Mason and Abott & Costello, and enjoyed singing and dancing to the "Oldies" with Kathy. Card tricks were another specialty, a talent he passed down to one
granddaughter, Julia who still fools people with them today.
Lou was a man of faith and he will be remembered as someone who really loved God and the Bible. Although he liked to laugh, he also helped many by conversing and listening and came to be known by many as a "True Friend".
Survivors include his children, Karen (Robert) Mazzacane of Shelton, CT,
Mark (June) Piscitelli of Shelton, CT, Tim Piscitell of Naples, FL,
Karen (Gregg) Seide of Estero, FL, Brian (Amy Peichert) DiRisi of Wallingford, CT, Jennifer (John) Salm of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Steven, Kristen, Bobby, Sean, Brad, Zachary, Marissa, Abbie, Amanda, Brian, Ginger and Julia; and great grandchildren, Emma and Brody.
