Louis Prezioso Obituary
Louis J Prezioso, age 63, passed peacefully on Friday August 2, 2024 after a fight with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Maria and children Victoria and Louis-Michael. Louis was married to Maria for 36 years after becoming friends at Monsignor Scanlan High School their freshman year. After high school, he attended Mercy College and went on to become a respected NYC hospital police officer for 40+ years. Louis obtained many passions including hunting, fishing, bowling, billiards and golfing, as well as being a fourth degree knight of The Knights of Columbus and a leader of The Boy Scouts of America. In his free time, Louis extended his faith by volunteering as an usher at his local church. Everyone knew him for his incredibly infectious smile and his lighthearted spirit. Louis was a true example of friendship, love and care-free living. With Louis, his family was always his first priority; however, he never thought twice about lending a helping hand to those in need. He will be greatly missed but will live on in our memories and our hearts.
The family will receive friends and relatives at Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug 4 and Monday, Aug 5, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at St. Benedict's Church at 9:30 am. Private interment.
