Louis Simms Obituary
Mr. Simms attended Petersburg and Richmond City Public Schools. After high school, he entered the Marine Corps. Louis loved music and taught himself how to play the guitar. He played in several bands throughout the Petersburg and Richmond areas.
He is survived by his sisters, Beverly Keeton and Dena Simms; brothers, Miles Simms and Larry Simms; aunts, Wilma Massenburg and Elizabeth Davis and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Special thanks to Battlefield Nursing Home for taking good care of Louis.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Bland Funeral Home, 137 Harrison St, Petersburg, VA 23803
