Louis Strasner Obituary
Louis Strasner, 82, of Sherwood, Arkansas joined Jesus in Heaven on August 14, 2023. He was preceded in death by his father, L. M. Strasner. Louis is survived by his mother, Mildred Barger of Sherwood, his daughters, Kim Ballard (Steve) of Sherwood and Karen Ford (Terry) of North Little Rock; his grandchildren Chase Ballard, Lainie Burroughs, and Grant Ford; and extended family and friends.
Louis attended North Little Rock High School and was a proud graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville where he received a degree in Marketing and was an avid Hog fan. He had a successful career in insurance management.
Louis lived most of his years in Sherwood and in retirement resided in Hot Springs Village. He was a dedicated father to Kimberly and Karen and loved family get-togethers. He was especially proud of his gardens and quick to show anyone that visited. Lou had a good sense of humor and an easygoing personality. Throughout his life, he was an active member of his church. He enjoyed technology, church activities, traveling, eating, playing bridge, and socializing with family and friends, especially his dear Hot Springs Village friends. Louis will be greatly missed by friends and family.
