Louise Berry, 87, of Grove City, passed away on June 14, 2025 under the loving care of Kobacker House and Staff. The youngest of 10 children, she was born in Glouster, Ohio on September 11, 1937 to the late Carl F. and Nellie (Cucci) Limo. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul Berry and oldest son, Arthur L. Reeves, Jr.
Those left to cherish Louise’s memory include daughters, Frances L. Reeves, Brenda Kay (Larry) Rod, Sandra (Barbara Decker) Reeves, and son, Thomas C. Reeves; grandchildren, Anthony (Gwen) Reeves, Christina (Tim) Orr, David (Erin) Hatcher, Ralph (Jadzia) Fritz, and Lucas Decker; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Evelyn, and Amelia Hatcher; countless nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
Along with her spouse and son, Louise was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph, Wedo, Lawrence, and Sammy; and sisters Frances, Mildred, Josephine, Mary, and Theresa.
Louise graduated high school from Glouster High School in 1955. She worked as a bartender for the Columbus Moose Lodge for 35+ years, where people still remember her skills and wit behind the bar. Louise was a fantastic cook and expressed her love through large family dinners; her specialty dishes were her spaghetti, meat, and marina sauces, meatballs, hot peppers and tomatoes, fried chicken, sausage and peppers, chocolate cake (which she only made for special occasions for special people), and the absolute best: her Italian salad with oil and vinegar. Her favorite activity throughout her life was spending time with her extended family; family reunions in Glouster and Johnstown were the stuff of legend, where family gathered to laugh, argue, tease—and to eat!
