Along with her parents, Louise is preceded in death by her brother, James Paul Lewis, son, Gary LaWayne Carpenter, and grandchild, Cheri Amber Carpenter. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Clark Carpenter; her children, Greg Carpenter, Debra Owens and her husband, Jerry, and Chesley Carpenter and his wife, Kristina. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Janie Green and Howard Dulane Lewis.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 26th, from 12:00 PM to 2PM at Mills Chapel Baptist Church, 85 Country Club Rd, Newnan. The funeral service will be at the church at 2 p.m., followed by a procession to Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan for prayer and burial. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.mckoon.com.
