Louise Goff was born November 25, 1934, and departed this life Thursday, September 25, 2025, reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Fletcher and Beulah Pauline (Jones) Smith.

She married the late Bruce Goff and they were blessed with two children.

Louise is survived by: one daughter, Rita McIntyre; six grandchildren, Rochell, Chris, and Matthew Goff, Bryon and Scott McIntyre and Jena Schrader; thirteen great grandchildren, Rebekah, Kiely, Ian, Madilynn, Ellison, Ethan, Lane, Colt, Peyton, Zac, Xavier, Knox, and Scarlett. She is also survived by: three sisters-in-law: Carolyn Smith, Ruth Ann Smith, and Pat Smith; along with a host of family, friends, and neighbors who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Fletcher and Beulah Smith, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Bruce Goff; one son, Russell Goff; five brothers: Kenneth Smith, Johnny Smith, Curtis Smith, Donald Smith, and Phillip Smith; three sisters: Maudena (Ray) Orr, Pauline (Raymond) Burnett and Lily Lucido.

Louise enjoyed life and cooking, crochet, classical music, crossword puzzles, and chicken salad.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monticello.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 2, 2025, between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
