Louise M. Heck Davis, 94, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines. The family will receive friends 1-3:00 pm Tuesday, October 25th at Iles Grandview Park Chapel. A private burial will take place at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Louise was born October 8, 1928 in Des Moines. Her parents were David Earl Heck, Hazel Mills and Thurman Mills. On October 19, 1946 Louise married Maynard Davis. To this union 10 children were born. Louise worked at Mercy Hospital in food service, and as a Foster Grandparent in several daycares.
Survivors include her children: Dixie (Kenneth) Heim, Maynard (Shan) Davis, Alan (Barb) Davis, Kathy (Wig) Renslow, Gina (Bob) Beerbower, Tanya Davis, Joe Davis; brother, Bob Mills; sister, Patricia Gaston; sister-in-law, Janet; son-in-law, George Shepherd; daughter-in-law, Debbie Davis; and three generations of grandchildren. Louise was preceded in death by her parents; husband; children: Danny, Terry, Cindy; brother, Norman Heck; sisters: Pauline, Thresa; and daughters-in-law: Jan Davis and Linda Davis.
