Louise Lucille Madrid

Louise Lucille (Coiro) Madrid, 94, of Londonderry, NH, formerly of Woburn, MA, passed away at the Courville Community of Manchester on Sunday April 7, 2024, following a sudden illness. She was born January 23, 1930 in Woburn, MA and was a daughter of the late Louis and Angela (Yebba) Coiro. Louise was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. She lived most of her life in the Woburn area, but had spent time in California and New Jersey, prior to relocating to Londonderry, NH in 2007.
Louise worked for many years as an assembler at Space Tac Electronics. She enjoyed bowling, line dancing, going to casinos, knitting and reading. Louise was also a long-time member of the Londonderry Senior Center, where she loved playing bingo and cribbage. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Women's Guild and a long time Eucharistic Minister both in NH and NJ.
Loving mother of her eight children and their spouses, Anthony Montecalvo and wife Cynthia, Joseph Montecalvo and his late wife Valerie, Ralph Montecalvo and wife Jeannine, Diane Gallo and husband Aldo, Jeannine Cella and late husband Vincent, James Montecalvo and wife Sandra, Susan Presas and late husband Floyd, and Louise Montecalvo. She was the loving grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 29 great- grandchildren. Louise is also survived by her brother Louis Coiro and wife Jean. Louise was predeceased by her siblings, Rose, Anthony, Samuel, Carmela and Angela.
Calling hours will be held Monday April 15th from 4 to 7pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 16th at 10:00am in the St. Charles Catholic Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, MA. The burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 686 Washington St., Winchester, MA.
