Lowell F. Scott

To the sadness of all who knew and loved him, Lowell F. Scott, 90, of Lonsdale, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of March 6th, 2025. He was born November 19", 1934 in Marvell, Arkansas to Sam Scott and Ellon Scott and was one of six children.
Lowell was co-owner, with his late wife, Patsy M. Scott, of Accounts Management Center, Inc. and spent 48 years in the collection industry. He was discharged from the army in 1958, where he was stationed in Germany as a military police. This background, naturally, had him volunteering his time as a Reserve with the Garland County Sheriff's Department of which he later held the position of Captain of the Sheriff's Reserves in the 70's. Lowell was a member of the American Collector's Association, Arkansas Collector's Association and Hot Springs Kawanis Club.
Lowell loved the outdoors and spent many hours with his wife and children camping, horse back riding. boating and, in his later years, deer hunting. He was an avid animal lover and was never without a pet or two, whether it was dog, cat, horse or cow.
Lowell is preceded in death by his spouse of 64 years, Patsy M. Scott: his son, Richard D. Scott; two brothers, Sam Scott, Jr., and James "'Bubba" Scott; a sister, Lucille Henry; and his parents, Sam and Ellon Scott. Left behind are his three canine companions, Snoopy, Smokey and Raya; daughters, Linda Winberry and Nancy Scott, both of Lonsdale, Arkansas; two sisters, Margaret Morehart of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Clara Wooten of Brighton, Tennessee and many nieces and nephews.
