She leaves behind her daughter Michelle Eaton of Cedar Rapids, IA and her son Michael Eaton of Cedar Rapids, IA. Along with sisters Marilyn Wallar and Karolee (Todd) Magnuson, brother Dean Butikofer, nephews Jeff (Amy) Butikofer, Andy (Alesha) Butikofer, Eric (Sarah) Magnuson and niece Lindsey Magnuson and many cousins.
LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents Ben & Ragna (Embertson) Butikofer, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
LuAnn was always upbeat and positive and loved a good laugh. If she could make someone smile that made her day. Her empathy had no limits and extended it generously to friends and family and family pets.
A celebration of life will be held on Aug. 9, 2025 in the Elgin, IA area (place unknown).

They will be donated to a local animal shelter in LuAnn's name.
Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.
