Lucas Derald Doty

Lucas Derald Doty, age 5, passed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Lucas was born December 30, 2017, in Fort Worth, Texas to Leslie Doty III and Julia Alfaro-Castellanos. He was one of the youngest of three brothers and doted on by each of his siblings. Lucas was a fighter who struggled most of his life due to an accident. He had his own personalized way of letting you know how he felt about the situation at hand. If he wasn't happy about something he'd give a little growl. If he was happy, then joy would spread across his features; when Lucas was having his hair washed you could see by the expression in his eyes that it was enjoyable. Also, Lucas loved listening to music; classical music was his favorite. Lucas touched many lives for the short time that we had him, and his spirit will be missed by all of his family and those around him that became family.

Lucas was preceded in death by his brother, Lex Doty.

Lucas is survived by his father, Leslie Derald Doty, III; mother, Julia Alfaro-Castellanos; siblings, Julian Doty, Leo Doty, Kinsley Phillipus and Presley Phillipus; and grandmother, Teresa Doty of Weatherford, Texas.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
