Lucas Paul Gilbertson was born on September 30, 1981 the son of Rodney Romuld and Gail Gilbertson. He attended schools in East Grand Forks, MN and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High School with the Class of 2000. Luke had many friends that will miss him. He worked as a Carpenter, Brick Layer and many other jobs. He could build anything. He loved all sports and played hockey in high school. He truly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Luke is survived by his mother, Gail Gilbertson of East Grand Forks, MN; father, Rod (Julie) Romuld of East Grand Forks, MN; brothers, Ian, Matt, Seth and Ben all of East Grand Forks, MN; special friend, Kari of East Grand Forks, MN; grandma, Carolyn Gilbertson of East Grand Forks MN and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is predeceased in death by his grandparents, Ward Gilbertson, Harry and Ruby Romuld.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM on Friday, January 19, 2024 at Dahl Funeral Home, 2029 Central Ave. NW, East Grand Forks, MN
Visitation: 1 Hour Prior Funeral Service on Friday in Dahl Funeral Home
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery, East Grand Forks, MN in the Spring of 2024.
