Lucia Concepcion long was born on February 4, 1985 in Norman, Oklahoma to Annette Joyce Cox and Steve Chavez and passed on December 18, 2022.
Lucia has 3 brothers: Hank, Onie and Julian Cox. She was married to Chris Long on January 26, 2009 and has 4 children: Ethan Lee, Isabella Annette (Bella), Christopher Long Jr. (CJ), and Izaak Dutch Long.
Other family members are Aunt Dorraine Ahearn, Uncle Bryan Ahearn, cousins: Preston, Hollie, Alexis, Rocky, Chipper, and Gunner Ahearn.
Lucia Long, as a child, enjoyed playing outside with her brothers or beating them up, (lol). She loved singing, had the most beautiful voice to be heard and has passed it on to our beautiful daughter, Isabella Annette Long.
Lucia also loved to cook and got her certification in culinary arts at a very young age. Lucia loved and lived to care for her love, husband Chris, who has always supported them. She loved our children with a wholeheartedly compassionate heart. She's always held our door with opens arms to anyone in need, as they needed, it didn't matter because she was there (one-call-away.) Lucia and Chris were both baptized in 2021 at Compassion Church in Stratford, Oklahoma were she was a current stay at home mom. She was mom to most of the kids in our neighborhood. We always opened our house to them and tried to keep them all feeling safe. She had a smile that would light up a room, a laugh you couldn't ignore and the voice of an angel. She always wanted to help anyone in need and I can honestly say we have changed the lives of many in need. She was all from the heart and never wanted any praise for it.
Let's not forget, she loved all of her nieces, Savannah Cox and Annilliah Cox; nephews, Julian Cox Jr. and Damian Cox from her brother, Julian and Joanna Cox.
There are so many things, I could keep going, but I'll stop here. You will be missed Lucia Long by many and never forgotten.

My deepest condolences to your family. I was actually trying to locate Lucia as I remembered her in hopes to locate her brother Hank it´s saddened my heart that I came across this instead. As I read her obituary, you described her mother. Her mother was exactly as you describe Lucia. Wow and looking at her picture she looks like her mom. I am so very sorry for your loss. She is in God´s hands now. I will lift up your family for God´s, amazing comfort, and strength.
