Lucia Wahl Obituary

Lucia was born on September 25, 1938 in Buffalo, New York, to the late Rose and Rocco Antonelli. She resided in Shamong for the last 45 years with her husband Robert, who passed away in 2016. Lucia was employed at A.H. Myers Insurance Company for over 20 years. She was strong in her faith to God and an active member of Saint John Neumann Church in Mount Laurel, where she was an active member of the choir for over 30 years. Lucia enjoyed community theater, casino trips and shopping for the latest fashions. She especially loved spending time with family and friends. Lucia will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved her.
Lucia is survived by her children, John and Jennifer; her niece and nephew (godchildren) Rose (Greg) and Steve (Susan), and great nieces and nephews Nicole, Ethan, and Brian. She is predeceased in death by her siblings, Maria (late Casey, Michael (survived by Gerda), and Emidio (late Barbara).
Relatives and friends are invited to Lucia's viewing on Monday, July 1, 2024 from 8:30AM – 10AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30AM at Saint John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Avenue, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment private at the request of the family.

I remember meeting Lucia years ago in the St John Neumann choir. She was always gracious and pleasant to talk to and had a magnificent voice. She also came to our salon in Marlton and my wife Betty did her hair. We will miss seeing her in the choir on Sundays. No one can fill her place.
