Ms. Lucille Coley, age 68, of Rocky Mount, North Carolina transitioned on Monday, June 30, 2025 at her residence.
Lucille Coley was born to the late Emma and Percy Coley on February 24, 1957, in Halifax County, NC. Lucille Coley entered into eternal rest peacefully on Monday June 30, 2025, in her home. Lucille loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, Lucille received her education at West Edgecombe High School, and she worked at Unifirst for many years.
Five sisters who preceded her in death, Marie Wiggins, Edna Coley Williams, Annie Taylor, Martha Coley, Idella Coley,
Lucille was dedicated mother, loving memories are cherished by her son, Telly L. Coley of Rocky Mount, NC, one sister, Flora Coley of Rocky Mount, NC, two brothers, James and Timmie Coley of Rocky Mount, NC., two brothers, Percy Coley, Jr, and Jonas Earl Coley, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends and a special and faithful cousin, Herman Joyner.
A Visitation for Mrs. Coley will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Gardens of Gethsemane in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
