Publish in a newspaper
at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Cox Funeral Home in Delhi with Bro. Jeff Sykes officiating.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until service time.
Burial will follow in the Newton Community Cemetery in Delhi.
Lucille was born on January 6, 1943 in Winnsboro, LA and entered into Heavenly rest on Sunday morning Sept 7th.
at the Deerfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Delhi.
She was a homemaker.
Lucille is preceded by her husband David Nicholas and her parents Isam Smith and Lucille Barton Smith.
She is survived by two daughters; Mary Lou Hale and Janice Walker and her husband Dallas; grandchildren, Lauren Hale Pettit,
Sarah Lingefelt and husband Adam and Dustin Walker and wife Katey; great grandchildren Abel and Owen Lingefelt; Audrie, Ryleigh, and Phoebe Pettit and Maddox Olson and two great grands on the way.
She is also survived by a sister Annette Howard along with special foster grandkids.
Pallbearers will be Dallas Walker, Dustin Walker, Adam Lingefelt, Chris Lingefelt, Abel Lingefelt.
