Lucy Lee Moore, 90, of Nederland, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2025, in Port Arthur. Born in Gates, Tennessee, on January 7, 1935, Lucy devoted her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her beloved husband of 70 years, Robert “Bob” Moore, and their family.

A devoted homemaker, beloved mother, and Grammie, Lucy was also an active member of First Baptist Church of Nederland. She cherished her lifelong friendships in the “Serenity” Sunday School Class and found joy in cooking, sewing, decorating, and gardening. With a heart that knew no bounds, Lucy made everyone around her feel deeply loved.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Moore and his wife, Elizabeth, of Brenham, Texas; and Kevin Moore and his wife, Valinda, of Nederland, Texas; her grandchildren, Angela Bruce and her husband, Martin; Katherine Moore; Andrew Moore and his wife, Sarah; Louis Moore; Syd Jennusa; and Clay Jennusa and his wife, Mary Beth; and her great-grandchildren, Laynee Ledezma, Ethan Bruce, Lila Jennusa, and Case Jennusa.

Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Moore; her parents, Isaac and Della Milam; her son, Lance Moore; and her brothers, Thomas Milam and Walter Milam.

She will be remembered by her family as a loving, caring, and beautiful woman—the heart of our family.

A visitation to honor Lucy will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Great Room at First Baptist Church, 1911 Nederland Avenue, Nederland, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m.
