Salt Lake City, Utah -
Luis Manuel Molina, Age 41, passed away on February 16, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on December 23, 1981 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Raul Molina Garcia and Josefina Llanas Bocanegra.
Luis was a kind, caring, and loving man. His humor and laugh were contagious. He was very giving; he would do anything to help the people he cared for even when he didn't have much himself. He grew up in Mexico where he made many memories with his mother, father & three siblings. He moved to the United States as a teenager, but Mexico always held a special place in his heart.
Luis had many professions throughout his life. He was a chef, soccer coach, tattoo artist, loan officer, accountant, and more. But his favorite role was being a father. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children. They created many memories while enjoying trips as a family, playing for hours at the arcade, and coaching his kid's soccer team. Later in life, he enjoyed going on walks with his dog Karlita, watching sports, and having family dinners where he could cook for his loved ones. Luis touched the lives of so many people, he is a reminder that even when life is hard you should always try to look at the bright side and be happy. He left us far too soon, but his memory will live on in all of us forever. He will be truly missed.
Luis is survived by his mother, Josefina Llanas Bocanegra, and his father, Raul Molina Garcia. Three siblings, Jose Raul Molina Llanas, Mario Molina Llanas, and Brenda Molina Llanas. And three children, Ariana, Luis, and Liliana Molina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 3, 2023, at the Winder 13th Ward located at 4350 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services. Interment to follow at Elysian Burial Gardens.
