Will always think of you as Mickies little brother, you sure outgrew little part though. So tall, and such a good heart. My mom always apreciated you so much. Taking time to talk with her after doing the yard. You were a chosen family member. That made y'all special to us. Go give my mom a hug and wish her a Happy birthday today. Walk with them all and give them all our love and hugs....until we're altogether again....rest easy.

Hi, Luke, it's me again, Aunt Dawna. I loved telling you stories when you were little. In this story I want to tell you, I invision your mother taking your hand and leading you to Grandma Stearnes, the one who was so excited when you were born. Your mother will say, "Mom, I want you to meet Luke, your first grandson. He is now a man and will be with us always, as will the memory of his first overalls." Grandma welcoms you with a big hug and tears falling down her pretty face for the love she feels for you. I can invision Paula, your mom, holding your hand, climbing on each cloud showing you off to our Heavenly family (those in the family who have gone before you), having a marvelous time, and finally on the top cloud meeting Jesus. What a truly miraculous moment; at that moment, all is well with your world, as you experience more love in your heart than you have ever known, and all will remain so forever and ever. This is what I hold dear for you and know you will be happy and loved always.

Love you Little Brother! We had so much fun growing up in Kennard! I remember how we all loved the Go-Cart that Dad made for us. I remember how you had kids in line to ride it around the garage. And I think you charged 25 cents for 3 rounds around the garage. Oh... and I remember mom was driving us to the grocery store in New Castle and you started singing, "Let's go to Crider's, Let's go to Crider's, Mommy.... I want a milkshake, I want a milkshake Mommy.... oh... and mom could not turn you down. We got to go to Crider's and got that milkshake. And we sang that song for years. :) <3 So many memories! Enjoy Heaven and I will see you afterbit! Much Love and HUGS!

Luke was my nephew, and I remember him mostly as a little boy and tiny baby. My mother had 7 girls and her first 2 grandchildren were girls. When she was finally able to get her hands on a little baby boy, she wasted no time. When Luke was 2 days old, she hopped, skipped, and jumped to the nearest children's store and bought Luke his first pair of "grownup" overalls. Then she bought him his first rocking horse. No one was going to take this glory away from her. Sorry, girls, she loved you dearly, but her sites were set on Luke back in June 1954.
