Together, they made numerous friendships and family memories at their "home away from home".
Lyle married Patrica Hillsberg in 1959. During their 9 years of marriage, they had three children. Deb (Mike) O'Brien, Rick Malliet, Doug (Lori) Malliet.
In 1969 Lyle married Bonnie (Bonita) Verhagen and her two children, Lee (Julie) Verhagen, and Lorie (Mark) Gillis. Lyle and Bonnie had two children together, Greg (Stephani) Malliet, and Chris (Cindy) Malliet.
Altogether, they have 15 grandchildren.
