Lynette "Lynn" Shelley Fuller, 79, of Box Springs, GA passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Friday, May 12, 2023 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Chaplin Frank Macon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the services.
Lynn was born February 28, 1944 in Columbus, GA to the late Joseph Shelley and Maudie Shelley. She attended Jordan High School and Columbus College. Lynn was a Christian and was a member of Ft. Perry Baptist Church and former member of Northside Baptist Church. Lynn was beautiful inside and out. She loved her flowers, shopping, family gatherings and her precious dog "Me Too". She also loved all her family unconditionally. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Major US Army (Ret) Charles Frederick Fuller and daughter, Wendy Howell.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Vonda Chanley of Box Springs, GA, Cindy Bailey of Columbus, GA, Kimberely Ann Watters (Gene) of Rome, GA, son, Robert D. Fuller of Columbus, GA, grandchildren, Ronnie Edwards Sanders of Box Springs, GA, Sara Cox of TN, Christopher Fuller of Columbus, GA, Matthew Mathison, great grandchild, Amberlyn Sanders of Box Springs, GA, sister, Wanda Phillips (Buddy) of Columbus, GA, brothers, Jerry Shelley (Billie) of Columbus, GA, Larry Shelley of Columbus, GA and numerous of nieces, nephews and other family members. Lynn will be in all of our hearts forever.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to Columbus Hospice House at 7020 Moon Road Columbus, GA 31909.
