Lynn Bachmann-Altshool

With deep sadness and profound gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we share the passing of Lynn Bachmann Altshool, aged 85, who departed this world on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Born on October 20, 1939 to the late Harry and Alice Baker, in a time when life seemed simpler and love lingered in the air, Lynn graced the earth with her warmth and vibrant spirit, leaving an indelible mark upon the hearts of her family and friends.

Lynn is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved spouses, George Bachmann, Patrick Flanagan, and John Altshool, who each cherished her deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her two devoted sons, Jerry (Margie) Bachmann and Jeff (Susan) Bachmann, along with her cherished grandchildren: Andrew (Sydney) Bachmann, Adam Bachmann, Joshua (Veronica Brown) Keffer, Kaitlyn Keffer, Amber Friedhof, Joseph (Crystal) Shea, and Amanda Bachmann. The joy of her life was further enriched by the presence of her great-grandchildren, Mya and Leland, who will carry her spirit forward as they grow.

In addition to her family, Lynn is survived by her loving siblings, Roy (Vena) Baker and Helen "Phyllis" (late Alan) Renner, both of whom shared countless memories and laughter with her throughout the years.

A woman of many passions, Lynn found joy in the simplicity of swimming and the thrill of shopping-activities that illuminated her zest for life. She was a beacon of light, bringing cheer wherever she went, and her laughter was often the soundtrack of family gatherings, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

As we prepare to honor Lynn's remarkable life, we invite family and friends to join us for a visitation at Frederick Funeral Home, 2553 Banning Rd., on Tuesday (October 7) from 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 720 E Pete Rose Way Suite 330, Cincinnati, OH 45202, a cause close to our hearts, in honor of Lynn's resilience and the love she shared.

As we reflect on Lynn's life, let us celebrate her spirit, carry forth her legacy of kindness, and hold dear the memories that unite us. Though she has left this earthly realm, the love she sowed in her family will continue to flourish, echoing in the hearts of everyone she touched.
