In loving memory of Evelyn K. Montgomery, who graced this world with her presence on November 15, 1918, we gather to celebrate a remarkable life that spanned 106 years. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Raymond Koenig (1890 – 1991) and the late Catherine (nee Breitenstein) Koenig (1895-1955). Evelyn peacefully passed away on September 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever illuminate the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late James Ivan Montgomery. Their life together was marked by unwavering love and kindness, building a life filled with cherished memories and mutual support. In the mid-1950s, James, a talented building contractor and constructed the home in which Evelyn continued to reside until her passing. Following his death in 1988, Evelyn remained devoted to the home that held so many fond memories, a sanctuary of love that reflected their beautiful journey together.

Evelyn was also the dear sister of the late Raymond R. Koenig (1915 - 1988) and the late Muriel Emma Stortz (1922-1952). She leaves behind a family who adored her, including many loving nieces and nephews, who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Her laughter and stories, will remain etched in their memories, a testament to the joy she brought into their lives.

An accomplished professional, Evelyn took pride in her work as an administrator at Procter & Gamble and actively served on the food board during the 1950s and 60s. Her dedication to her career left an indelible mark on her community. She had a special affection for her dog, her family, and, of course, the music that filled her home with joy.

Evelyn K. Montgomery will forever be remembered as a bright light in our lives, her spirit enduring in the stories we share and the memories we cherish. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave to others.
