Mrs. Banister is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Banister; daughter, Kara (Jesus) Favela; grand-dog, Zoey; sister, Tana Tillman, brother; Jaye (Carol) Tillman; aunt, Jean Ellis; as well as nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Lynn was full of life, and didnt mind taking on a challenge. She was always taking on a new project, whether that was a new craft, or remodeling the house. Lynn could always be found enjoying the presence of her family, four legged and not. She was a stay-at-home mom with Kara for many years and her family was her world. Lynn enjoyed seeing the world and travelling, going on many cruises and trips to Colorado, Alaska, as well the beach. Before her illness, she kept up regularly with her group of friends, the "Gurlfriends" for over 30 years. Over the last few years through her illness, her husband, David, was her full-time caregiver and best friend. Lynn will be greatly missed by all who knew her, and her colorful outlook on life.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Glen Haven Baptist Church with Pastor Stan Berrong and Pastor Brady Howard officiating. The family will receive friends and hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Glen Haven Baptist Church, or your local animal shelter.
