Lynn Peters (Nee Schmidt), entered into eternal life on October 3, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1939 to Norma and Earl Schmidt of Hartford.
Lynn leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 52 years, Wayne Peters.
She was a loving mother to eight children; Kathy Schmidt, Wonda (Dean) Wolfe, Dale (Jill) Schmidt, Tammy (LeRoy) Stasson, Kay (Greg) Gundrum, Scott (Kim) Peters, Dean (Jennie) Schmidt and Janice (Donovan) Gehring.
She was a caring grandmother to her grandchildren; Karen (Peter) Graf, Sheldon Peters and Kaitlyn (Skip) Beeman, Sarah (Mitchell) Erickson, Conrad and RJ Schmidt, Kyle Grotelueschen, Joshua (Elisa Dyer, fiancé) and Jared Stasson, Tyler (Amy) Gundrum and Trent Gundrum, Courtney (Josh) Ruppel, Cassie Peters and Caylie (Austin) Herbst, Abbie, Chloe, and Lukas Schmidt, and Payton, Alyssa and Carson Gehring.
She is further survived by her great grandchildren; Quintin, Leightin and Adalyse Graf, Tiago and Nico Erickson, Braxton, Rylie, and Colter Ruppel, and Sophia Herbst.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents; her sister; Susie Hein; her son-in-law Dean Wolfe; her daughter; Kathy Schmidt, and her grandson; Conrad Schmidt.
Lynn was a dedicated homemaker, raising eight kids, while working on the family farm and as a cook at Herman Consolidated School.
She was fond of spending time with her friends in card club. Later in life, Lynn enjoyed taking road trips with Wayne to parks and lakes to see waterfalls and watch wildlife.
A private gathering will be held for family and close friends.
