On June 3rd, 2024, Lynn Ellen Roubo, born to Clayton Eugene Downs and Miriam Esther
Downs, passed away unexpectedly at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH. Lynn
was born June 24th, 1966 at Lakes Region General Hospital. She grew up in Belmont, NH
and attended Belmont High School. Raised on a farm, she loved to spend time with the
horses alongside her father. Growing up, she did many activities with her mom that she
turned into lifelong hobbies such as cooking, canning, and gardening. She would spend
hours talking to her children about her childhood and her most cherished memories. If she wasn't spending time with her family, you could find her feeding or admiring the birds.
Lynn leaves behind her husband of thirty-one years, Michael Joseph Roubo; their son
Christopher Joseph Roubo and his fiancé Jessica Terrio; their son Adam Michael Roubo and his girlfriend BreyAnna Hanson; her mother-in-law Patty Mathis; her brother Steve Downs; her sisters Sally Tarte and Lorri Downs; her niece Amy Hofman, Amy's husband Eric, and their son Reid; her nephew Bryan Tarte; and her beloved best friend Katrina Shurbert.
Lynn's absence will never be unnoticed by her family, friends, and those who loved her. We
will forever be reminded of her in lilacs (not lavender), hummingbirds, and George Strait.
"I cross my heart that I'll always love you to the moon and back, Mom."
There will not be any services during this diXicult time while the family spends time
together to grieve.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
