LOUDON --- Alan David Smith, 53, of Pond Street, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Speare Memorial Hospital, in Plymouth, NH.
Alan was born on October 9, 1971, in Concord, NH, the son of the late Andrew David Smith and Betty Jean (Judd) Smith.
Alan graduated from Belmont High School. He worked as a fork truck operator for Penny Publications. He enjoyed camping, playing horseshoes, and was a NASCAR fan.
Alan is survived by his wife Kelley Smith; daughter Amber Smith; brothers Steven Smith and his wife Sue, and James Smith and his wife Darlene; sisters Debra Knowlton and her husband Andrew; grandchildren Maizy and Isaac Whalen; six nieces; 5 nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, Alan is predeceased by his sister Stephanie Smith and step-son Dakota LaBrecque.
Calling Hours will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the Carraige House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Alan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
