In Loving Memory of Lynne
Lynne passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in St. Paul. Her passing was very unexpected, but it came shortly after a special moment surrounded by the family she loved so deeply at her sister's funeral.
What a blessing it was that so many of us who loved Lynne were able to spend time with her so recently.
Lynne grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota, attended Harding High School, and met Clyde, who would become her husband. Together they began their adventures in Boston and later in Colorado. Lynne treasured her time living outside of Minnesota-skiing, exploring, and sharing those experiences with her extended family.
After Lynne and Clyde parted ways, she returned home to Minnesota, where she embraced her love of theater. She performed in major productions, taking on big roles that made her family proud.
Lynne also reconnected with her family's beloved Ox Lake-a place filled with natural beauty and countless memories. It was a space where she found peace and connection.
She went on to study theater at Metropolitan State University, where she later worked as an admissions counselor. Lynne took great pride in purchasing her own home, which she filled with warmth and love-and shared with her beloved cats.
Throughout her life, Lynne found comfort, belonging, and spiritual connection at Unity Church. She also drew great meaning from spending time in nature and from the teachings and traditions of Native American spirituality.
Lynne had a spirit of adventure and a deep appreciation for life's experiences. She traveled to Ireland, Alaska, and even Branson, Missouri-each trip a chance to explore and grow.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and a sister. Lynne leaves behind nieces and nephews, a great-niece, cousins, and many dear friends-all of whom she loved deeply.
Lynne will be lovingly remembered each Christmas, as she was known for giving special ornaments to her family for more than 50 years. Her presence will continue to be felt in many homes as Christmas trees are decorated each year.
As Lynne recently shared on her Facebook page:
" I truly appreciate kindness. I appreciate people checking up on me. I appreciate a quick message. I appreciate those who ask if I'm okay. I appreciate every single person in my life who has tried to brighten my days. It's the little things that matter the most."
Lynne's gentle spirit, creativity, and love for others will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know her.
