Mabel enjoyed helping others and became a Hospice Volunteer, which was another organization that was dear to her heart. Mabel also joined a quilt group and began quilting. She created many beautiful quilts for herself and her family. Her love of making new friends extended to chat groups, where she gathered to talk with friends about many subjects. Mabel also shared Bob's love of birdwatching. She enjoyed finding a new species on her bird walks.

Mabel will be dearly missed by two daughters, Carol (David) Burley of Centerburg, Ohio, and Kathy (Roger) Groll of Waldo, Ohio; two sons, Larry Cheetham of Lewis Center, Ohio, and David (Gina) Cheetham of Largo, Florida.
