Robert “Bob” Kim Williamson, age 95, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, just ten days shy of his 96th birthday. Born on August 25, 1929, in Marion to Phillip and Audrey (Kim) Williamson, Bob was a lifelong resident of the community he loved.
A 1948 graduate of Marion Harding High School, Bob went on to complete courses in Industrial Engineering through ICS, building a strong foundation for a long and successful career. He worked as an Industrial Engineer for several companies, including Apex Dennison, Peabody Galion, Huber-Warco, and Ohio Locomotive Crane, where he ultimately retired.
On August 1, 1950, Bob married the love of his life, Wilma June Albright. The two recently celebrated an incredible 75 years of marriage—a testament to their unwavering commitment and love.
Bob had many passions and hobbies throughout his life. He was an avid stamp collector, loved boating, water skiing, and fishing. He loved cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed tinkering with computers, always eager to learn and explore new technology. Among his favorite pastimes was vacationing with his family, especially in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, where many cherished memories were made.
Bob was a member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his five siblings; his daughter, Robin Colgrove; and granddaughter, Lori Sheets.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Wilma; his children: Robert (Linda) Williamson, Dick (Lori) Williamson, and Sandra (Jerry) Allen; grandchildren: Robert Lee Williamson, Jesse Allen, Alyssa Allen, and Payton Williamson; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
