RICHMOND, IN– Mable L. Marion, age 81, of Richmond, Indiana, died Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Reid Health.

Mable was born July 28, 1944, in Connersville, Indiana, to James and Clara Wyatt Marion. She lived in this community most of her life. Mable was a graduate of Connersville High School and attended Ivy Tech. She worked at several nursing homes and Reid Health in Environmental Services. Mable was selfless and enjoyed helping others. She enjoyed crafting, puzzles, tinkering and traveling. Mable loved Elvis Presley. Spending time with her family was very important.

Mable is survived by her son, Michael (Vanessa) Geise of Trenton, Ohio; grandchildren, Troy Michael Trotter and Marissa (Joseph) Guzaj; sister, Mary Cooper; nieces and nephews, Rick (Tracy) Venable, Doug Venable, Ed Venable, John Venable, Tim (Kristin) Venable, Nila Cones, Janel Lee and Julia (Bruce) Mullins; cousins; 10 great nieces and nephews; and many great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Sonny and Jimmy Marion; and nephew, Zane Marion.

The family would like to thank Dr. O'Leary and the staff at Reid Hospice for their excellent care and compassion.

Visitation for Mable L. Marion will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Rd. West, Richmond, IN. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2025, also at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Martin Holman officiating. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery in Connersville, Indiana.
