Abingdon, VA – Macie Annlee Waycaster Blevins, age 96, passed on Monday, July 14, 2025, in Johnston Memorial Hospital. She was born during the Great Depression on April 14, 1929, in Bristol, TN to the late Harlie and Celia Jane Potter Waycaster. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and of strong Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, Macie was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Grey Blevins; daughter, M. Susan Blevins Debeaubien; and seven siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Warren and husband Bobby of Bristol, TN, Yvonne Totten of Saltville, VA, Christine McCracken and husband James of Meadowview, VA, Delores White and husband Roby “Buster” of Meadowview, VA; son, Millard “C.L.” Blevins of Atkins, VA; 11 beloved grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, in the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Fritz officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
