MacKenzie Brooke Johnson, affectionately known as Kenzie, went to be with the Lord as the angels came down and took her hand and led her to her Heavenly home on July 15, 2024 in her hometown of Princeton, WV.
Kenzie had a beautiful heart and smile. She loved her music. She loved to dance. She loved to be around people, especially little children. Kenzie was a nurturer. Kenzie worked part time since August of 2023 at Outback Steakhouse in Princeton, WV.
She is the beautiful daughter of Rick and Melissa Johnson. She has two sisters she loved very much, Brittany and Jillian. She is the granddaughter of Jerry and Joyce Smith of Princeton, WV, George and Phyllis Panos of Vestavia Hills, AL, and Roger and Judy Johnson of McDowell, WV. She is the niece of Hulio and Christi Dye of North Tazewell, VA, Randy and Michelle Johnson of McDowell, WV and Stan and Angie Taylor of Statesville, NC. She also has a host of loving cousins.
A service to celebrate Kenzie’s life will be held at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV on Sunday July 21, 2024 at 3:00 PM with Assistant Pastor Mike McGraw officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00pm. The burial service will follow immediately after at 2936 Rocky Branch Rd. Princeton, WV. Pallbearers will be Hulio Dye, Randy Johnson, Randall Johnson, Ricky Potter, Mike Lane, Eric Collins and Nick Graham as honorary pallbearer.
Kenzie will be remembered as the beautiful, sweet, loving, and full of life person who made a lasting impact on everyone she knew.
