Maddie Davis Obituary

With hearts in pieces, our family is grieving the loss of Madeline Christine Davis, 27, a beautiful mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, co-parent, and friend. After a period of struggle, Maddie died by suicide.
Maddie grew up in Oregon City in a very close family: her parents Candy and Adam, her big brother Mason, and her big sister Marissa. She loved being outdoors-camping with family, fishing, boating, and hunting-and she carried that grounded, Pacific Northwest joy into everyday life. She was strong and spunky, deeply organized, warm, and kind. The one who noticed small details and made people feel seen.
Maddie's greatest joy was being "Mama" to Raeanne Christine (2) and Warren Boyd (1). She shared that world with their dad, Cameron Davis, who is now caring for their little ones. More than anything, Maddie wanted her children to feel deeply loved and they did, every single day.
Professionally, Maddie was a talented lead stylist and a trusted, steady presence for her cousin Sydney Bray's company, LiveEdge Salon + Spa. She served on the LiveEdge committee that helped shape and grow the company, and she was Sydney's right hand with inventory and products. Her life was so much fuller than work-but her talent, leadership, and reliability touched many. She is a light in their space that they will miss every day.
Maddie also lived with significant mental health challenges, and this past year brought heavy life changes. She was actively trying to get better, and it is heartbreaking that her journey ends here. We're sharing this because honesty reduces stigma and might help someone else feel less alone. Our love for Maddie is boundless, and our grief is too. She was so much more than her struggle.
Maddie is survived by her beautiful children, Raeanne (Bug) and Warren (Bubba) Davis, and their father Cameron Davis, her parents Adam and Candice Donovan, her brother Mason Roberts and his partner Rachel Hubbard, her sister Marissa Donovan and brother-in-law Komail Ahmadyar, and her grandparents, Wade Donovan, John & Jane Straight, and Paula Roberts. She was preceded in death by her papa, Clyde Brown and her grandpa, Myron Roberts. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who adored her.
