It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maddox Weston Phineas Nalley, age 14, of Neodesha, Kansas. Maddox departed this life on September 15, 2025, at home. We invite all who knew him to join us for a Celebration of Life service at Christ Church in Neodesha, Kansas, at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Kathryn Nalley to assist with funeral expenses.
Maddox was born on November 16, 2010, in Chanute, Kansas, to his loving parents, Randall and Katryn Nalley. He was a vibrant young man who attended Altoona Grade School and was currently a student at Neodesha High School. Maddox radiated enthusiasm, eagerly anticipating the upcoming basketball season. He enjoyed playing video games, spending time with friends, and learning to drive, often accompanied by his favorite rap music—a true reflection of his lively spirit.
Maddox was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Bernadette Schoonover, great grandparents, Carolyn and Therman Gilbreath, grandparents Mary Nalley, Randall Dickens, Therma Gilbreath, Clifford and Delores Lee, great -aunt Arelyn Foster, great aunt and uncle Henrietta and Earl Gurley.
He will be lovingly remembered as a sweet and sensitive young man who had a heart full of love and a spirit that could light up any room. Maddox is survived by his devoted parents and four brothers: Chase Nalley, Kyler Nalley, Wesson Nalley, and Caiden Nalley. His memory will forever be cherished by his grandparents, Karen and Kirby Lee; his aunt, Kami Lopeman; and his uncle Clifford and his wife Mindy Lee.
During this time of mourning, we encourage everyone to share their memories and send messages of comfort to the family through www.loranfawcettfuneralhome.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Loran Fawcett Chapel.
Maddox’s light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.
