Majorie Rae Davis

Marjorie Rae Stoddard Davis was born on January 31, 1943 in Eugene Oregon to the parents of Gordon and Viola Way Stoddard. She passed away on November 4, 2025 at the age of 82 at home in Welling, Ok. Services for Marjorie will be Friday November 7, 2025 at 2pm with graveside services immediately following at Hungry Mountain Cemetery, services under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
She was a dedicated and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time gardening, wood working, raising her flock of chickens, and spoiling her dogs. Her early years were spent raising and training horses for a round-up club in Oregon. At the age of 16 she was runner-up of the rodeo in her hometown. On February 3, 1961 she married Harley Davis in Eugene, Or they were married for 54 years. She loved teaching her grandchildren how to cook, sew, can, and garden. She spent the most peaceful time of her life sitting on the front porch watching the hummingbirds and soaking up the fresh air.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Harley Davis, and her daughter Laura Candy.
She is survived by her sister Donna Hurlburt of McMinnville, Or, children Mark Candy of Inola, Kristine and Bob Myers of Muskogee, James And Norma Davis of Rocky Mountain, Timothy Davis of Welling, 8 grandchildren Benjamin and Melissa Candy of Santa Rosa, Ca, Kristy and Jason McKie of Tahlequah, Kimberly and John Ozbun of Broken Arrow, Jessica and Trae Webb of Welling, Chelsea and John Tuell of Stilwell, Dustin Davis of Rocky Mountain, Justin and LeAndrea Davis of Hulbert, Tiffany and Chandler West of Stilwell along with 12 great grandchildren and nephew Doug Hurlburt of Marywood, Or, along with a host of friends and other loved ones.
