Makenna Lee Elrod, 10, Left this world and was welcomed in the arms of Jesus on May 24, 2022 in Uvalde, Texas
Visitation for Makenna will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022 starting at 5:00pm with a prayer service to be held at 5:30pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Uvalde.
Makenna’s life will be celebrated 10:00 AM on Saturday June 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Uvalde.
“For Those that are attending the Celebration of Life, we would love to see the church filled with the color of purple, anything you have purple we are asking you to wear that in honor of Makenna”.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery after the Celebration of Life.
Makenna Lee Elrod was a light to all who knew her. She loved her family and friends so much Makenna was 10 years old and loved to play softball, gymnastics, loved to dance and sing, play with fidgets and spend time with her family. She was a member of the 4-H club and loved animals. Makenna made friends everywhere she went. She had brothers, sisters and cousins who she loved to play with. Her smile would light up a room Makenna loved to write notes to her family and leave them in hidden places to be found later. Makenna was a natural leader and loved school. Makenna loved going to the ranch with her dad to feed animals and ride on the ranger. She was full of life and will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving parents; Chris Seiler, April Elrod & Jacob Kubish of Uvalde. Grandparents; Sharon Brown, Mike Brown & Brenda Fernandez all of Uvalde, Nancy Brown of Destin, FL, LeeAnn Kramer and Leslie of Montell. Grandparents Steve and Maryland Seiler, Pat and Jim Sibigtroth of Round Rock, Texas. Stanley & Lisa Kubish of Pleasanton, Texas, Great Grandmother’s Myrtle Brown of La Grange, GA. and Mary McKinney of Victoria, Texas. Sisters, Cailey Seiler, Cayden Seiler, Kadence Kubish, Briar Kubish. Brothers; Holden Elrod and Layton Kubish. Cousins; Madison McCullough, Payton McCullough, Zoe McCullough, Aunts and Uncles, Kyle & Allison McCullough, Heather Seiler, Jordan Seiler and Tabitha Seiler.
Pallbearers will be, Jeff Seiler, Michael Horak, Layton Kubish, Mike Wally, Casey Elrod & Stephen Easley.
The Elrod & Kubish, Seiler family would like to extend our utmost sincere gratitude to the City of Uvalde, and to everyone from across the State of Texas, Country and the World. We are truly deeply touched by everyone that has been praying for us, being by our side, but most importantly showing us so much love and support during this difficult time. We just ask to keep praying for us in the days that are to come. May God Bless You All.
