Malachi Alexander Fruchterman passed away on August 18, 2025 at the age of 15 months, following his battle with a congenital heart defect.
Malachi was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on April 19, 2024 and met his adoptive parents Daniel and Linnea two weeks later. Malachi spent his first 6 months in the hospital and ultimately came home in October of that year.
Despite his short time on earth he was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. Malachi had a very strong will and would "Bring the Fight" to all occasions. He was a happy baby with a fantastic laugh.
Malachi's memory will forever be cherished by his parents, Daniel and Linnea and his grandparents, Susan and Michael Brown, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
A memorial service for the family will be held on August 30th 2025.
In lieu of flowers the parents ask donations to be made to Ronald McDonald House of South Louisiana, 210 State St Building 4, New Orleans, LA 70118. Without their charity it would have been significantly harder to stay with Malachi those first 6 months.
