Funeral Service for Malaina Langley Truss, 60 of Somerville, will be Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00PM in the Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Richey officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the funeral home. Malaina was born November 18, 1964, in Morgan County, to Charles F. Langley Jr. and Peggy White Langley. She passed away Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Malaina was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Chuck Langley. She loved her children, grandchildren, and family with all her heart and she was loved just as deeply. Her presence brought so much love and comfort, and her absence leaves an emptiness that can never be filled.

Survivors include:

Two Sons-Michael Truss (Brandy), and

Brandon Truss (Autumn),

Mother-Peggy Langley,

Two Sisters-Karen Merriman (Tony), and

Tina Childers (Ryan),

Three Grandchildren-Wyatt Truss, Cheyanne Truss, and Waylon Truss.

Several Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Truss, Brandon Truss, Tony Merriman, Jacob Merriman, Aaron Shadden, and Wyatt Truss.
