Malcolm Ross Kinnison, 73, died peacefully at home on January 7, 2026 in Grayson, LA. He was born on November 15, 1952 in San Angelo, TX, to Tamridge George and Marie (McClung) Kinnison. Malcolm graduated from Caldwell Parish High School in Columbia, LA in 1971.
He served his country as a radioman in the U.S. Navy and lived many years in San Diego, CA. Malcolm had a lifelong love of music, reading, and the beach. He played the drums in his high school marching band and in garages with his friends. Malcolm was an avid record collector who owned many classic albums. As a boy, he enjoyed swimming at the local public swimming pool most summers. He also was a passionate bowler much of his adult life. He was quiet, kind, funny and loving. His favorite place to be was at home.
Malcolm was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include two children, Naomi Baker (of Livingston, TX) and Heath Kinnison (of Winnsboro, LA), and two sisters, Phyllis Kinnison and Georgia Keesler (Eric). He had many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
