On November 2, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, Malissa (Lissa), Squiers passed from this life after a lengthy battle with cancer. She is survived by her two children, Laura and Keith, and their families; her life-long partner, Jeff Broll; her Mother, Donna Blount; her siblings; her nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and neighbors.
One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother to her two granddaughters, Senovia and Sophia. They brought so much light and love to her life.
Lissa was devoted to serving her community and cared deeply for everyone. She embodied the philosophy of "be the change you wish to see".
She was very passionate about music and loved attending live concerts. Her favorite artists were Angelina Jordan, Kacey Musgraves and Willie Nelson.
She was known for her fierce, but fair, nature and her strong determination. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
