Mamie Frances Hayes, 73, of Hixson, Tennessee, departed this life Friday, January 3, 2025, with family by her side. She was a Christian and was welcomed into Heaven where she will live forever with her Savior, Jesus Christ.
"Frannie" was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Hayes; parents, Frank Harrison Walker and Eula Mae Walker Colburn; an infant sister, Barbara; sister, Ruth Walker; brothers, Ross Walker and Cecil Walker; and an infant daughter, Tiffany Rose.
She is survived by her fiancé, Harold S. Duncan; her son, David (Pam) Roberson; stepsons, Eric (Jennafer) Hayes and James (Kelly) Mains; granddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Hayes; sister-in-law, Lisa Perkins (Dwayne); dear friend considered a daughter, Tammy Bertrand; cousins, Kay (Ken) Boothe and Joan Thomas along with several other family members and close friends.
Frannie was a fun loving person who never met a stranger. She loved people and made it her mission to help however she could. She was generous and kind and always ready with a joke to tell. Frannie was gifted in hospitality, an excellent cook, and loved welcoming friends into her beautiful home. She excelled in customer service and spent most of her career at American National Bank as a teller.
A celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Grace Pointe Assembly of God, 6613 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN, 37343, where Fran was a member. Pastor Terry Evans, officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M., service at 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to support Grace Pointe Assembly of God or Tres Dias of Southeast Tennessee, 11206 Old East Brainerd Road, Apison, TN, two ministries very dear to Fran's heart.
