Mandi J. (Gerken) Harris, age 47, of Lima, Ohio passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 12:54pm in her home surrounded by loving family following a sudden illness.
She was born in Wauseon, Ohio at the Fulton County Health Center on September 11, 1977 to Lori A. (Stine) Gerken Adams and Douglas M. Gerken.
She enjoyed cooking, baking - cheesecakes being her specialty, puzzles, and spending time with her family and friends.
Her smile and bright spirit will be missed but never forgotten by all who know and love her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Lori A. (Stine) Adams, son, Leonard Lee "LJ" Harris, Jr., and an uncle Charles E. Weible.
She is survived by her father Douglas M. (Barbara) Gerken of Cresent City, Fl. Father of their sons, Leonard Lee (Tina) Harris, Sr. of Bradenton, Fl. Oldest son Devon Harris of Wauseon, Oh., Dustin (Jenna) Harris of Wapakoneta, Oh., and youngest Aaron (McKenzie Rigsby) Harris of Columbus, Oh. Additionally, her three granddaughters Alaina Metz, Amelia Harris, and Lena Harris who are loved and adored beyond measure. Brother Jeremy (Andrea) Gerken of Wauseon, Oh., sister Riley (Michael) Conrardy of Jacksonville, NC., nephew Rosston Gerken, and nieces Elivia Clark and Abigail Conrardy. Special acknowledgement to Fran Neeley Bourne and Frankie Adams II who played a large role in raising Mandi.
A Celebration of Life will be held January 11, 2025 from 3pm to 8pm at Springbrook Gardens, Lima.
In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions or donations may be made to: CHP Home Care & Hospice, a Cervical Cancer (in memory of Mandi) or a Suicide Prevention (in memory of Mandi's son LJ) charity of your choice.
