Manuel R. Baldonado, born on January 27, 1996, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was a cherished son, brother, and friend whose light touched the lives of many. Tragically, he departed this world on January 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Denisha Baldonado, and his paternal grandfather, Manuel Baldonado, both of whom held a special place in his heart. Manuel's spirit lives on in his father, Manuelito Baldonado, and his brothers: Brandon, Matthew, and Dominic. He also leaves behind his cherished nephews, Brandon and Julian, who adored their uncle.
The warmth of Manuel's love extended to his maternal grandparents, Anthony and Anna Casias, as well as his paternal grandmother, Angela Olivas. He was blessed with a close-knit family including his aunties Danielle Casias and Stephanie Saavedra, who was also his godmother, and her husband Joshua, along with their children Fernando, Trinity, and Marissa. The bond of family also included uncles Michael Chavez and Lawrence Chavez, along with Lawrence's wife Vicky and their children - Miguel, Anthony, and Leila, who have blessed the family with their little ones Aiden and Riley.
In addition to his immediate family, Manuel is remembered fondly by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by his kindness and joy for life. He shared a special connection with many fur babies, reflecting the love that ran deeply in his veins, just as it did with his mother.
Though Manuel is no longer with us, the memories of his vibrant spirit will forever be etched in our hearts. We love and miss you, Manuel; a part of us will always remain incomplete without you.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the friends and family who have offered their support during this difficult time. Your calls, visits, and donations mean the world to us.
Manuel's service will be at San Jose Church on Broadway on the February 27th. Rosary starts at 10 with the mass to follow then the burial at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
