Marc Leach Obituary
Marc Leach, a devoted father, loving husband, beloved son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at the age of 56. Born on July 29, 1969, to Carol Leach and the late Michael Leach, Marc lived a life defined by hard work, humor, and deep love for his family and friends.
Marc was a proud and loving father to two wonderful sons, Nick (19) and Luc (16), who were the center of his world. He was a devoted husband to his late wife Mary (Stecker) Leach, whose memory he cherished dearly following her passing five years ago. Marc also leaves behind his beloved mother, Carol Leach; sister, Kristen Martin (Tom); niece, Kera Martin; and nephew, Trent Martin. He will also be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a wide circle of lifelong friends.
A 1987 graduate of Redford Union High School, Marc maintained strong bonds with many of his classmates, some dating all the way back to kindergarten. Known for his loyalty and easy-going nature, he valued connection and never missed a chance to make others smile.
Marc built a respected career in the glass industry, where he was recognized as a brilliant glass handler, installer, and estimator. His attention to detail, dedication to quality, and strong work ethic earned him the trust of colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond his profession, Marc had a true passion for fixing and building things - a talent matched only by his creativity. Whether it was a home project, a custom piece, or just lending a hand, he approached every task with enthusiasm and heart. He was a jokester at heart, always ready with a quick wit or a playful prank, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went.
Marc's legacy lives on in the love he shared, the laughs he gave, and the strong, caring sons he raised. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and his unwavering devotion to those he loved.
A celebration of Marc's life will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, at 10AM at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church, 3700 Commerce Rd, Orchard Lake, MI 48324. In state begins at 9AM.
