Marc LeClair Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Glenville Funeral Home - Glenville on Jan. 11, 2026.
Marc Russell LeClair, 61, passed away on January 7, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 19, 1964, in Amsterdam, New York, to Walter James LeClair and Mary Ann (Russell) LeClair.
Marc was a proud 1982 graduate of Burnt Hills–Ballston Lake High School. Growing up, he was a natural athlete, participating in swimming, football, and baseball. As a teenager, he expanded his interests beyond sports into mechanics, where he discovered a lifelong passion for cars and the mechanics of machines.
Marc spent many years working in the grocery industry with both Price Chopper and Hannaford, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability.
A lifelong tinkerer, Marc loved taking things apart and putting them back together. From cars and motorcycles to bikes and engines, he was always up for a challenge and never afraid to get his hands dirty. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, snowmobiling, camping and spending time on the water boating. He also loved fishing and, earlier in life, hunting.
Family meant everything to Marc. He will be remembered for his resilience, curiosity, and the way he approached life with grit, heart, and doing things his way.
Marc was predeceased by his father, Walter James LeClair. He is survived by his loving mother, Mary Ann LeClair; his brother, Matt (Annemarie) LeClair; his sister, Jacqueline LeClair (James Hull); his fiancée, Miranda Pedersen, and her five children, whom he cared for deeply.
Services will be private at the family's convenience.
