Marc Nichols

Marc Nichols, age 69, formerly of Temple, passed at his residence on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was born in Fort Worth, TX to parents Clarence and Marianne (Suite) Nichols on December 5, 1955.
Marc grew up in the Ft. Worth area, where he attended all his schooling. He would spend many summers during school with his family and aunt in Temple. After graduating he chose to become a truck driver. Marc loved life on the road travelling all over the country. He owned and operated his own truck and put a lot of hours and miles on the highways across the great old U.S.A.
Marc lived most of his life, when not on the road in Ft. Worth, TX. He loved spending his free time with his family. They shared many happy times together, reminiscing about the good old days. In his younger days he participated in rodeos. He enjoyed the thrill of horseback riding and roping. This would also coincide with his love of the outdoors. Marc would often go fishing and just listen to the peacefulness of nature which would always refresh his soul. Marc was a loving man who made many friends along the way, but his greatest love was his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include, his mother, Marianne Suite of Fort Worth. His sister, Mary Claire Grounds of Fort Worth and niece Heather Glover and husband Russell of Lorena, and nephew Sean Grounds of Fort Worth. He was blessed also to get to love a grand-niece, Chelsea Glover and grand-nephew Russell Glover Jr. also of Lorena. Marc will be missed by all his family and friends, but he is resting in peace now and forever.
A service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Hewett-Arney Funeral Home in Temple, TX with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple.
