Marcel Tremblay

Marcel Laurent Tremblay, 89, passed away on 11AUG2025 at his home in Center Conway, NH. A funeral mass will be held on 21AUG2025 at the Blessed Sacrament Church in Manchester, NH.

Marcel is survived by his wife of 69 years Sylvia, his eight children, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two of his 14 siblings, Cecil and Theresa.



We could list the litany of Marcel's accomplishments; a business creator and owner, an avid golfer, a varsity baseball athlete, a fourth degree and Grand knight of the Knights of Columbus, a volunteer helping the elderly and others, but his greatest was that of teacher to those around him.

Not the classroom-take a test type - the life type, the important things, and not through instruction but through action. He taught the value of work by working more hours than any human should, so we could be comfortable. The value of fairness, even to those who were not so and did not deserve it. The value of caring, by never wavering to go out of the way to help and save people around him (especially us children), sometimes to his detriment. The value of love by his ardent and unwavering dedication to his wife - our mother. And we didn't even think he knew he was doing it. He was just being Marcel.....Dad.

Although saddened by his passing, we are happier to have known him, learned from him and been in his life.
