Marcella Carls Obituary
Marcella loved animals, especially her several cats and her dog. She enjoyed spending time with her neighboring friends on the river.
Marcella is survived by her husband, Stanley; three children, Kim (James Bruce) Stanley, Scott (Melanie) Stanley and Stanley Carls Jr; two step children, Heather (Kenny) Holmes and Ryan (Julia) Carls; grandchildren, Lindsay (Andy) Killam, Chase Bitschenauer, Ellie Stanley, Zoelle Carls and Zaiden Carls; step grandchildren, Kennedy Holmes, Hunter Carls and Piper Carls; two great grandchildren, Zane Hogan and Wren Killam; two brothers, Kenneth (Carol) Lovely and Dennis (Bonnie) Lovely; an aunt, Joann Gayle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Oscar Carls.
Cremation rites were accorded. No services are planned per Marcella's wishes. Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg is assisting Marcella's family with final arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Rd, Springfield, Illinois 62702.
